Description

• Project Supervision & Installation: Supervise on-site technicians and contractors during the installation phase/ Ensure that the installation adheres strictly to engineering designs, local codes and safety standards.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of solar components (PV modules, mounting structures, inverters, charge controllers, and Energy Storage) and international/local electrical standards.
• Site Assessment: Conduct on site surveys to evaluate location conditions, solar irradiance, structural integrity and electrical load calculations.
• Project Management: Coordinate with EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contractors, oversee QA/QC processes and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot and repair: Diagnose problems and perform hands-on repairs and modifications for equipment and systems. Inspect and maintain critical infrastructure, including electrical systems (panels, circuit breakers, lighting,etc)
• Ensure compliance: Monitor and inspect systems to ensure they meet safety regulations, building codes, and operational standards.
• • Documentation: Record all installation and maintenance work, and archive relevant reports and records.
• Testing and Commissioning: Conduct rigorous testing of the installed solar systems. Eliminate any initial technical problems and successfully debug the system to make it usable for industrial, commercial, or residential purposes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related engineering field is often preferred.
• Minimum of six month or one years of experience in a related field is common. (including Fresher)
• Strong knowledge of Solar systems and working drawings.
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and codes.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including night shifts, weekends and being on-call for emergencies, depending on facility needs.
• Willingness to travel to remote project sites and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, climbing and working in confined spaces or at heights.
• In the absence of active solar project, the engineer is expected to support general office facility maintenance and electrical system upkeep to ensure continuous operational efficiency to improve Engineering skill.
• Following all company regulations, rules, and safety procedures.
