Medical Service Technician (Dental Equipment)
Description
- Install and set up dental units and equipment at clinics and hospitals according to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration on dental devices to prevent equipment failure and ensure long-term reliability.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic malfunctions in dental chairs, compressors, and X-ray units.
- Provide basic training to dental staff on the proper operation, daily care, and maintenance of the installed equipment.
- Manage the inventory of spare parts and tools, and prepare requests for necessary components for repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used in the company’s service log.

Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or Biomedical Engineering.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in medical equipment maintenance. Experience specifically with Dental Equipment (e.g., Dental Chairs, Scalers, Autoclaves) is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits, hydraulics, and mechanical systems. Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent diagnostic and analytical skills to resolve complex equipment issues under pressure.
- Good interpersonal skills to explain technical issues to non-technical clients (dentists and clinic assistants).
- Must be physically fit to handle equipment and travel to various clinic locations as required.
