IT Administrator and Compliance Officer
Description
- Develop and implement IT compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance risks and gaps in the organization's IT systems.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that proper controls and safeguards are in place to protect sensitive information and maintain data privacy.
- Monitor and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking components.
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Implement network security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls, to safeguard against unauthorized access and data breaches.
- Stay up to date with changes in IT compliance regulations, network technologies, and best practices, and incorporate them into the organization's policies and procedures.
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users regarding network connectivity, performance, and related issues.
- Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to plan and execute network expansion projects, upgrades, and migrations.
- Perform regular network maintenance activities, including software updates, patch management, and security enhancements.
- Manage and maintain the organization's website, ensuring its proper functionality, security, and performance.
- Update website content, including text, images, videos, and other media, as needed.
- Conduct regular website backups and implement disaster recovery plans to minimize data loss.
- Monitor website analytics and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with web developers and designers to implement website enhancements and new features.
- Stay up to date with emerging web technologies and trends, and propose innovative solutions to enhance the website's user experience.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT compliance, network administration, and website maintenance.
- Proficiency in network administration principles and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
- Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Familiarity with network security technologies and best practices.
- Solid understanding of website maintenance and content management systems (CMS).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred qualifications
- Certification in Network administration (e.g., CCNA, Network+).
- Experience with network infrastructure design and implementation.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies and cloud networking.
- Familiarity with firewall and VPN configurations.
- Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Familiarity with search engine optimization (SEO) techniques.
