Head of Account
Description
Manage overall accounting and financial operations of the company.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure timely closing of accounts and reconciliation processes.
Monitor company cash flow, working capital, and financial position.
Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls.
Supervise budgeting and financial forecasting activities.
Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to management.
Monitor accounting records related to import and export transactions.
Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and sales departments regarding shipment costing and payment schedules.
Ensure proper recording of: Import duties and taxes, Freight charges, Customs clearance expenses, Overseas supplier payments, Export sales revenues
Handle foreign currency transactions and exchange rate adjustments.
Ensure compliance with local tax laws and financial regulations.
Manage commercial tax, income tax, withholding tax, and customs-related documentation.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
Prepare audit schedules and support annual external audits.
Lead and supervise the accounts team.
Assign duties and monitor staff performance.
Train and develop accounting staff capabilities.
Maintain discipline, teamwork, and professional standards within the department.
Monitor bank balances and payment schedules.
Approve payment vouchers, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
Strengthen internal control systems to prevent fraud and errors.
Review financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare management reports and financial analysis for decision-making.
Support management in strategic financial planning.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
Minimum 7–10 years of accounting experience.
At least 3 years in managerial level within export/import, trading, logistics, or manufacturing industry.
Strong experience in import/export financial operations and banking procedures.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and taxation.
